Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript includes most of my remarks, several aspects have been clarified.
I appreciated the author's effort to document the models in the literature, the clarifications concerning the choice of initial conditions.
My final remarks concern the name of Section 2, which does not seem appropriate to me, as it does not only present the experiments, but especially the model with the assumptions and the mathematical formulation.
Despite this aspect which could easily be taken into account, I recommend the acceptance of the article for publication.
Minor remark: line 35 batch-fed replace by fed-batch or sequential batch depending on what the author means

Answer:

Thanks for the suggestion. We have renamed the section to “Methods and Experimental Procedures” to refer to the study of the models and methods involved.

  • Despite this aspect which could easily be taken into account, I recommend the acceptance of the article for publication.

Answer:

We are sincerely grateful for the significance given to our work.
