Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

In the age of the Internet, social media and gardening by meme, radio can be under utilized. The data presented in this manuscript demonstrates the quality of information and the audience trust in the Smart Garden programming.

The data presentation is redundant since Figure 1 has the survey questions and results for each question. I would suggest removing the data results from Figure 1 and then discuss results in the Results section.

Author Response

Thank you for reviewing this manuscript. We have revised the attached version which shows the changes in yellow highlighted text. We removed the results from Figure 1 and added this information in the text. We agree it is much easier to read. Please let us know if further edits are needed.

Reviewer 2 Report

This is an interesting work. However, there are a few minor factors that should be considered to improve your paper.

Introduction - a scientific background of a problem is not sufficient, you could provide more relevant references. You state the scientific problem and the aim of your study in a very light way, maybe it will be better to state them harder.

Materials and methods - one paragraph is a very little information on what you have done and based on what data. However, it seems to be complete. Have you considered to carry-out an in-depth interview?

Results - I would consider a different way of presenting results, maybe one table, ast it is difficult to read such lengthy data. The same with the graph, it is far too big, unnecessarily. What information is on the "x" axis? It is unusual way of describing it.

Author Response

Thank you for the reviewer comments. We reformatted Figure 1 to remove results and added results into the text. These changes are highlighted in yellow on the revised submission. We reformatted Figure 2 to make it more legible. We added a paragraph (also highlighted in yellow) to provide more background and references. We believe we have addressed all the revisions suggested by reviewers.  Thank you.
