An Atypical Presentation of Sympathetic Ophthalmia in an Intact Globe Following Mechanical Fall: A Case Report and Literature Review
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The current report is of interest to the readers of vision Journal. Atypical presentation of Sympathetic Ophthalmia is always a subject of publication because of its rare prevalence.
The plagiarism check showed a level of 40%, which is relatively high. The authors are encouraged to decrease it to less than 20% if they want to publish their work.
The IRB approval number is missing; the authors need to add it.
The Color fundus photographs and OCT results could be of interest for the readers.

Reviewer 2 Report
In this paper, Chean et al. presents an atypical case of sympathetic ophthalmia after mechanical fall with intact globe. This is a well-written case report. I have two comments:
1. The patient appears to be pseudophakic in both eyes. When was the surgery made?
2. Can you provide the patient's Ocular Trauma Score?

Round 2
Reviewer 1 Report
Since the authors were exempted from the IRB approval, they need to mention this information in the text..
Author Response
Thank you for the reviewer for pointing this out. We have added an Institutional Review Board (IRB) statement in the manuscript: Page 2 Line 36-38 "Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee of University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust has ruled that approval was exempted for this case report"
