I would like to suggest for improvement as follows. You can choose either one.
- Carry-out a comparative study with other works to see its contributions. Which part of the improvements have been made i.e in the algorithm. Improving the algorithm by introducing some filtering techniques etc.
- OR to carry-out a survey by allowing the users to evaluate the performance of the application. For example, to evaluate the user satisfactions using several theories such as Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS), and Task Technology Fit (TTF).

This manuscript uses the thread technology and proposes a taped reading with web scraping to cater to the needs of the trading users to gain stock price sequence minute by minute. The research topic is interesting; however, the following concerns prevent me from recommending the manuscript to be accepted at the current stage.
(1) The language of the manuscript needs to be further improved, there are many grammar errors in it. For example, in the abstract “So the meaning of tape reading is record the stock price but should not be predicted”, I suggest that authors should revise all the related issues in the whole manuscript.
(2) The authors should pay more attention to the structure of the manuscript. A long paragraph like the introduction is not acceptable. Moreover, there are lots of repeating in the introduction and abstract.
(3) The introduction seems off track of the objective of the manuscript, I suggest the authors should describe more about the related challenges and gaps that will be solved by the manuscript in this part.
(4) In the related research part, the authors just list the related research without analyzing the relationships to the current research. I suggest the authors should provide more about the insights drawn from these studies to guide the design of the current study.
(5) The figure format in the manuscript needs to be updated.
(6) The authors should provide evaluations about the usability and functionality of the platform, otherwise, it would be more like a user manual.

Reviewer #2: This manuscript uses the thread technology and proposes a taped reading with web scraping to cater to the needs of the trading users to gain stock price sequence minute by minute. The research topic is interesting; however, the following concerns prevent me from recommending the manuscript to be accepted at the current stage.
- The language of the manuscript needs to be further improved, there are many grammar errors in it. For example, in the abstract “So the meaning of tape reading is record the stock price but should not be predicted”, I suggest that authors should revise all the related issues in the whole manuscript.
Response 1: This version has been edited again to ensure that the language is clear and free of errors. The edit was performed by professional editors at Editage, a division of Cactus Communications. The certificate of English editing is attached below. For easy example is below:
original: So the meaning of tape reading is record the stock price but should not be predicted.
edit: Therefore, the meaning of tape reading is to record the stock price, but its concept should have no prediction purpose.
- The authors should pay more attention to the structure of the manuscript. A long paragraph like the introduction is not acceptable. Moreover, there are lots of repeating in the introduction and abstract.
Response 2: In page 1 to page 2 about introduction, already delete repeat part and the introduction is more shorter.
- The introduction seems off track of the objective of the manuscript, I suggest the authors should describe more about the related challenges and gaps that will be solved by the manuscript in this part.
Response 3: In page 1 about introduction line 9, already describe the challenges and the solution to the challenges “The challenge of this application is that the reback period of stock prices is limited in Ya-hoo and Anue and these stock platform websites only reload to 9:00 AM on that day. The time stamp of stock prices in Yahoo or Anue is not flexible. Thus, this study will deal with this challenge, as this study application can freely select updating stock price time for 30 min, solve the nonflexible stock price time stamp problem in Yahoo and Anue, and record stock prices using this proposed method to face the difficulty of limited reload stock prices.”
- In the related research part, the authors just list the related research without analyzing the relationships to the current research. I suggest the authors should provide more about the insights drawn from these studies to guide the design of the current study.
Response 4: In page 5 line 1, already provide guide “In Table 2. Kanade et al. [13] used Twitter sentiment to help stock analysis, which en-courages the proposed method to further classify sentiment to stock trends in advance study, but not the presented mission in the proposed method. Zhao et al. [12] applied stock news as a formula and theory to guess the stock price up and down; the proposed method also bonus scraps and gains stock news to follow the method of Zhao et al. [12]. The Tiwari et al. [11] method or all related studies guide the proposed method to first crawl stock information to display and service for tape reading users.”
- The figure format in the manuscript needs to be updated.
Response 5: In page 6,7 figure 4,5,6 figure already update.
- The authors should provide evaluations about the usability and functionality of the platform, otherwise, it would be more like a user manual.
Response 6: In page 11 already add the table 4 to display the maximum sampling period, stock price update gap time and so on.

Response 2: In page 13, already add 5. discussion.
- The introduction should be updated by recent researches.
Response 3: In In the page 2 about introduction line 11 already update by recent researches: Tiwari et al. [11] and Zhao et al. [12].
- The novelty and contribution should be clearly bolded.
Response 4: In page 2, the novelty about sending stock sequence excel back to user’s email and bonus scrap stock news of query company already bolded.
- It’s better to suggest some subjects for future works.
Response 5: Already add some subject for future works in page 13 section 6. Conclusion: ” It can use neural network technology, transfer the stock news sequence text to normaliza-tion neurons, and through the hidden layer in the neural network to propagate sentiment positive or negative classification of the stock news regarding the company. In addition, advising the stock price trend of the company with stock news, extracting the stock news keyword or more effective phrases regarding these companies to text summaries using neural networks and machine learning algorithms.”

This work designs a GUI for web scraping the daily stock price for the Taiwanese market using different sampling rates and storing the results in an excel file that can also be sent by email.
The paper is quite hard to read because of the use of English. There are many weird sentences as well as non-conjugated ones.
The research contribution of this paper is not clear at all for me. It presents the engineering effort to design/build a tool to do web scraping, and there is not any posterior utilization of the retrieved data rather than storing it into a file. The libraries used for this purpose are well known, and the main difference with previous proposals seems to be the target.
There is not a single reference to previous work on the introduction section. In my view, the introduction should clearly mention what is the problem this research tries to solve, and what is new or better compared to existing approaches.
The proposed method describes a regular web scraping process, and then particularizes it for the stock market in Taiwan. But this description is not very deep, which are the actual challenges of this scenario is not clear.
The experimental results section, just consists of a set of screenshots of the GUI, there is no actual evaluation of the capabilities of the tool (e.g. maximum sampling period or maximum number of supported threads) neither there is an actual comparison with previous proposals.
In the conclusions (as well as in the abstract and introduction) is mentioned what from my point of view would be a nice contribution: enhancing the collected information with news of the company and the possibility of making predictions. However these features are not included on the presented work.

This is the revised version of the manuscript I have reviewed before. The manuscript uses the thread technology and proposes a taped reading with web scraping to cater the needs of the trading users to gain stock price sequence minute by minute. The revised version presented a huge improvement compared to the previous version. I laud the work the authors have done to improve the quality of the research. I understand that the authors have sent the work to some professional editors but submitting the work with tracking of language editing rather than the addressing of the comments is highly not recommended. Because the tracking of the little adjustment like “a” to “the”, “research” to “study” are really influencing the readability for the manuscript. However, I still have the following several comments regarding the current version:
- The authors should update the figures in the manuscript to make them high resolution and professional to the requirements of the journal.
- The Chinese characters in the figures should be translated to English where necessary.
- Moreover, I also recommend that the authors should read the revised version closely rather than submitting it like this. Because there is still grammar error exiting in the manuscript. Take one example, what is it meaning by “The application GUI that this study proposed, its successful scrap rate is …”.
- I recommend the authors to discuss more about the potential problems the proposed schema have solved, and the implications of the proposed approaches to the applications in the future stock market. Several sentences like the current discussion cannot fulfill this purpose.

- The authors should update the figures in the manuscript to make them high resolution and professional to the requirements of the journal.
Response 1: The figure 2, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15 already cut some not important part like select tab and application GUI rectangle to let these figure image more high resolution.
- The Chinese characters in the figures should be translated to English where necessary.
Response 2: The figure 2, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 already remove Chinese because of English reflect prior meaning is already exist, and specific on figure 2, 6, 7, 9 already translate Chinese to English.
- Moreover, I also recommend that the authors should read the revised version closely rather than submitting it like this. Because there is still grammar error exiting in the manuscript. Take one example, what is it meaning by “The application GUI that this study proposed, its successful scrap rate is …”.
Response 3: In 5. Discussion line 1 already edit the grammar error “The application GUI that proposed by this study, its successful rate of completely scraping the stock data is influenced by crawling stock information……”.
- I recommend the authors to discuss more about the potential problems the proposed schema have solved, and the implications of the proposed approaches to the applications in the future stock market. Several sentences like the current discussion cannot fulfill this purpose.
Response 4: In 5. Discussion line 5 already add the potential problems the proposed schema solved, and the implications of the proposed approaches to the applications in the future stock market “This proposed method will influence stock market application and the behavior of stock users more faster trading, because of some users survey processed by this research method. It found that there are huge users would like to use this application designed by this research, because of this implement quickly query stock price and automatic transfer it to the record sequence, it can help people effectively get the stock data and gradually turn them to the short term trading ground. And otherwise, this proposed schema have solved the problem about users surface the stock price just with the pure stock information platform website, and just to be the long term investment stock users to passively wait for stock price change and except so stock earn, this application try to let stock users handle with more real time stock price and more positive control the stock data flow to equal their trading schedule.”

First of all I would like to thank the authors for their response and for clearly showing in the manuscript which changes have been made.
I am kind of satisfied with them, although from what I read on the "Response 4", it seems I was not clear about the challenges. I concretely meant which are the technical challenges that have been faced to design such a system and to make it robust.
I would appreciate if besides adding Table 4 to the experimental section, it is referenced and explained on the Experimental Results section. I still think that this section has room to improve, in which machine or machines has the system been tested, how much resources it uses, how long it takes to make a query and get the response, how many simultaneous requests are supported...
Finally, some of the images seem blurry to me and I cannot read them properly.

- I am kind of satisfied with them, although from what I read on the "Response 4", it seems I was not clear about the challenges. I concretely meant which are the technical challenges that have been faced to design such a system and to make it robust.
Response 1: The technical challenges that have been faced to design such a system and to make it robust have clearly added in page 1 (Introduction) about line 16, which already describe the technical challenges and the solution to the technical challenges: “When design such this system, will face the technical challenge about establishing so many tabs to scrap enormous stock price that user want, and it may occur the problem like recycle program application, it must to be used for object concept to create tab instance to effectively and robust crawl the stock price.”
- I would appreciate if besides adding Table 4 to the experimental section, it is referenced and explained on the Experimental Results section. I still think that this section has room to improve, in which machine or machines has the system been tested, how much resources it uses, how long it takes to make a query and get the response, how many simultaneous requests are supported...
Response 2: In table 4, already add start query time and response time that how long it takes to make a query and get the response, and machine platform has the system that focus on this scrap application suitable and been tested. “The proposed stock tape reading base on web scraping method has been tested on computer platform specific on CPU that can handle with this scraping application, it can be fluently processed on CPU in Intel Celeron G 1620, i5-4570, i5-9400, i7-9700, i7-10700, i9-9900 these modern operation environments, and furthermore can execute on old system with prior generation CPU that completely finish stock crawling mission.”
- Finally, some of the images seem blurry to me and I cannot read them properly.
Response 3: The figure 2, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15 already cut some not important part like select tab and application GUI rectangle to let these figure image more high resolution.
