Dear authors,
I have no special comments.
The manuscript looks fine.

This manuscript forecasts landslides by Time Series Modelling. The paper is a bit interesting and a kind technical report. However, the structure of the papers is too bad and very messy. Methods and results are often mixed together. Also, there are too many equations, please simply the equations, if the equations were proposed by the authors, if not, pls make it simple. Also, the quality of figs is quite poor. Fig.7 is very weird. The logic of the whole paper is hard to catch. The altitude of this paper has some problems, please seriously consider it and resubmit it again.

Reviewer 3 Report
The manuscript entitled “Landslide Forecast by Time Series Modelling and Analytics of High-dimensional and Non-stationary Ground Motion Data”, by G. Qian, A. Tordesillas and H. Zheng, presents an interesting work.
In general, the manuscript should be acceptable for publication but some serious problems must be repaired prior to publication. It needs some significant improvement. Some suggestions are as follows:
- Please follow the journal author instructions. It would be useful for the reader to follow the classical text structure (i.e. Introduction-methodology-results-discussion-conclusions). A better presentation of your results and an extensive discussion would improve your paper.
- The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone.
- Please do not use abbreviations which you have not explained previously.
- You could enrich the scientific literature. It is so poor.
- Please justify convincingly why this manuscript (method, thematology etc) connected with FORECASTING’s content and scope. Perhaps the using of proper literature would be helpful.
- Correct references in the text and the reference list according to the journal’s format. Please format the references’ list by using the correct journal abbreviations. See the following link: https://images.webofknowledge.com/images/help/WOS/A_abrvjt.html

Round 2
Reviewer 2 Report
this version has been improved a lot. but there are too many equations to increase the readability. if these equations were not proposed by the authors, please simplify them. fig.8,x, y-axis lack unites, the black triangle should be added in the fig.
Author Response
Thank you for the helpful comments on Revision1.
- We added unit "meter" to x-axis and y-axis of Figures 7, 8 and 1.
- We added the following sentence to the end of Paragraph 1 in Section 3.
"Readers who are interested in only the applications of the model just need to take equations (1), (4), (5), (6) and (10), and the definition of EDQ, then jump to section 5 and forward."
We believe the equations presented in the paper are already kept to the minimum level without compromising the integrity of the model. On the other hand, some readers of the paper may want to use our method to tackle their own application problems, whereby the presented equations would be necessary.
Reviewer 3 Report
The manuscript entitled “Landslide Forecast by Time Series Modelling and Analytics of High-dimensional and Non-stationary Ground Motion Data” presents an improved and good work.
The manuscript should be acceptable for publication in the present form.
Author Response
We added the unit "meter" to the x-axis and y-axis of Figures 7, 8 and 1.
We also added a sentence to the end of Paragraph 1 of Section 3 to the prospective readers who are only interested in the application of our method.
