NREM Parasomnias: Retrospective Analysis of Treatment Approaches and Comorbidities
Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
This study focused on adult patients with NREM parasomnia, and retrospectively investigated the effective treatment. Since few studies have focused on adult NREM parasomnia, especially from treatment strategy, this study seemed to be very important. However, I have no idea that this study is suitable for the journal of “International Journal of Molecular Science”. In addition, author should alter the title such as Adulthood NREM parasomnia, for I wonder this study included child patients. Also, I want to know the age distribution of patients, for authors only described the average age of onset. Furthermore, time lag from the onset to the beginning of treatment might affect on the treatment effectiveness. Please add such an analysis.

"NREM Parasomnias: Retrospective Analysis of Treatment Approaches and Comorbidities" is an interesting paper and should be published.
The article is a retrospective analysis and determines the most frequently prescribed medications for NREM parasomnia treatment and evaluate them.
The study and it´s design is clearly represented; even the results and the discussion.
Unclear is the founded epilepsy
- "normal" or sleep-related?
- in case of "normal" -> with kind?
I recommend even to include some more and newer references.
