Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

the subject of study is interesting. The only limitation is the small number of participants in the study and the high number of dropouts from the program and that finally it was only possible to have the information of 15 participants, 5 boys and 10 girls.

Authors should indicate these study limitations at the end of the text. As well as indicate the reasons for dropping out of 12 participants. For the rest, the study is a good job, I have for the subject it addresses as in the procedures used

Authors should know and cite the following text

Gil-Madrona, P., Prieto-Ayuso, A., Silva, S. A. D. S., Serra-Olivares, J., Aguilar Jurado, M. Ángel, & Díaz-Suárez, A. (2018). Hábitos y comportamientos relacionados con la salud de los adolescentes en su tiempo de ocio. Anales de Psicología / Annals of Psychology35(1), 140–147. https://doi.org/10.6018/analesps.35.1.301611

Thank you very much for the very constructive comments.

1. the subject of study is interesting. The only limitation is the small number of participants in the study and the high number of dropouts from the program and that finally it was only possible to have the information of 15 participants, 5 boys and 10 girls.

Effectively the sample is small. However, being a longitudinal study over the course of 12 months, participants having to go weekly to the gymnasium of the university campus in the city center, depending on the participants of the peers and parents for their travel. Also, starting and maintaining the practice of physical exercise when revealing sedentary habits may have made keeping adolescents in the program not easy. This information has been included in the paper.

2. Authors should indicate these study limitations at the end of the text. As well as indicate the reasons for dropping out of 12 participants. For the rest, the study is a good job, I have for the subject it addresses as in the procedures used

In the limitations at the end of the article, the reasons for the drop-outs of the 12 participants were explained and the remaining limitations were explained.

Reviewer 2 Report

Please explain more about the Pediatric Obesity Treatment Program (TOP) in term of how it was developed and how it works.

Please explain why 12 participants dropped.

Can you explain how participants were recruited and there was any compensation?

“Experimental study with comparison within subjects.” Is not a full sentence.

In addition to the theoretical contributions of the paper, please also state how the findings mean to practice and how the paper can help practitioners.
