- What vaccines that were used in France and different vaccine such as mRNA and vectored vaccine would have resulted in different results in waning immunity.
- Figure 1 needs better description for the legend with different line colors and nodes
- Table 1 needs abbreviations below
- Legends of Figures 2 and 3 need better descriptions especially figure 3.

The content of this paper is interesting, and I have only two remarks :
- how flexible is the method with respect to other compartments? Would it make sense to add a quarentine compartment?
- i m aware that considering the spatial component is put of scope of this paper but could you comment on possible extensions? See e.g. Viguerie et al. Simulating the spread of COVID-19 via a spatially-resolvedsusceptible–exposed–infected–recovered–deceased (SEIRD) model with heterogeneous diffusion.
