Round 1

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsDear colleagues
Thank you so much for your excellent overview of this interesting and promising area of real-world implementation of digital tools and AI driven management for children with chronic lung diseases.
Parental perception on AI integration in healthcare and decision-making regarding their children is variable but relatively new data have documented a rather good support for this approach in imaging, emergency paediatrics and primary care {Berghea, E.C.; et al. Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Pediatric Healthcare: Parental Perceptions and Ethical Implications. Children 2024, 11, 240. https://doi.org/10.3390/children11020240]
I am confident that your pertinent analysis would help children with chronic lung diseases and will bring food for thought for many physicians.
Ongoing research projects are implementing many of the areas extensively documented in your paper.
An international collaboration is developing a new digital health assistant (DHA) smartphone-assisted, age specific for children, called ALEX, implementing wearable tools for increasing compliance and asthma control in teenage patients (https://dbe.unibas.ch/en/research/imaging-modelling-diagnosis/computational-physiology-and-biostatistics/alex-design-development-and-evaluation-of-a-digital-health-assistant-for-paediatric-asthma/).

Comments and Suggestions for AuthorsDear Authors,
I have read an entry regarding pediatric CSLD and digital health resources. While interesting, I have several inputs:
1) In line 59, the authors suggested, "The recommendations we propose.." In an article like this, it is hardly justifiable to recommend anything. Please remove this sentence.
2) Under the "Impact of CSLD" section, please include the data on mortality, morbidity, and days lost on missed school days.
3) Please provide a brief overview of the epidemiology of this disease entity. What is the peak age group prevalence?
4) Please change BMI score to BMI index
5) Please elaborate further on what is a "serious game"
6) The authors also need to acknowledge that DHS may not still be available to all populations, due to cost and availability.
