Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This is an enjoyable summary of some topics in current and future muon physics. The manuscript covers a range of areas, is well presented, and is appropriate for a conference proceedings.

The sources of the Figures should be cited in the captions. Beyond that, I had only a couple of minor points: some acronyms are not defined in the text (MELC and MACS); L179 contains a spurious character after 2. On revision of those points, I recommend accepting.

Author Response

I thank the referee for a careful reading of the manuscript.  I believe that I have addressed all comments as requested.
