Geosciences Reaches 1,000 Article Milestone

Geosciences, MDPI’s open access earth and planetary science journal, has published more than 1000 articles and reviews since its inception in 2011. Geosciences is now covered in Sources Citation Index (ESCI) and Scopus.

Geosciences' current CiteScore (2019) in Scopus is 1.79. The CiteScore is calculated by dividing the number of citations for published papers by the number of published papers in the previous three years (2016–2018), as drawn from Scopus data. Full-text article pages were accessed more than 50,000 times in March and April 2019.

Our sincere thanks go to the Editor-in-Chief of Geosciences, Prof. Dr. Jesus Martinez-Frias, Section Editor-in-Chiefs, Associate Editors, and all Editorial Board members, as well as the numerous Guest Editors of Special Issues, who ensure the continued significance of the journal.
