Recruiting Topic Editors for Non-Coding RNA

Non-Coding RNA journal is launching a new position—Topic Editor. The main responsibilities of Topic Editors are as follows:

  1. Setting up at least one Special Issue (SI) within the first two years with the journal, and proposing a detailed strategy plan for the SI (including soliciting papers, promoting the SI, etc.).
  2. Promoting the journal during conferences (adding 1–2 slides into your presentation, distributing flyers, recommending the journal to your colleagues, etc.).
  3. Facilitating collaboration between the journal and related institutions/societies/conferences, etc.
  4. Providing support for Special Issues on topics related to your expertise or when the Guest Editor(s) is not available, including SI promotion via social media, pre-checking new submissions, making decisions, giving advice in particular scientific cases, etc.

Benefits: Topic Editors are eligible for travel grants for their research group or themselves after one year of their tenure has been served. Moreover, they may be recommended for the role of Editorial Board Member after the Editorial Office’s evaluation.

Non-Coding RNA (ISSN 2311-553X) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that provides an advanced forum for studies related to non-coding RNAs and their regulatory roles. It publishes research articles, reviews, communications, snapshots, and conference reports. The current CiteScore (2019 Scopus data) is 4.2, it will increase to over 6 for this year. The journal ranks 152/324 (Q2) in the category 'Genetics'. We are committed to promoting the research process in genetics and contributing to the development of this field.
