Colorants is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal (free for readers) devoted to the publication of original papers, review articles, and communications related to all aspects of coloring matters, including physical or chemical properties, synthesis and preparation, applications, etc. The journal provides a medium for the publication of interdisciplinary papers on colorants for investigators with common interests but from diverse fields of research such as cosmetics, reprographics, dye and pigment syntheses, medical research, polymers, etc. More details can be found at the following link: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/colorants/about.

Editorial Board Members are responsible for upholding the academic and scientific quality of MDPI publications. The initial term lasts for 2 years.

As an Editorial Board Member, your responsibilities are as follows:

  • Pre-screening and making decisions on manuscripts related to your research interests;
  • Setting up Special Issue(s) on the topic related to your research interests when convenient for you;
  • Promoting the journal and increasing its visibility at related academic conferences;
  • Attending Editorial Board meetings to suggest journal development strategies;
  • Reviewing manuscripts.
