Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Plant biosecurity is essential for protecting natural ecosystems, agricultural productivity, and biodiversity. Failure to manage invasive plants and agricultural weeds can have significant ecological, economic, health, and social consequences, making it a priority area for environmental management and policy. Therefore, preventing the introduction of non-native plants, including screening imported goods and plants, implementing quarantine measures, and educating the public about the risks associated with invasive plants and agricultural weeds, is critical to maintain sustainable ecosystems and ensure food security. This Special Issue will include papers describing ongoing research in invasive plant biology, ecology, agricultural weed management, and control methods to improve our understanding of plant invasions and develop more effective management strategies.
