Dear Colleagues,
Biomedical image processing and sensing applications play a crucial role in advancing healthcare by providing essential tools for diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment. These technologies utilize algorithms to enhance and analyze images from medical imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound, allowing for the improved visualization of anatomical structures and abnormalities. Additionally, biomedical sensing applications involve the development of sensors and devices to collect and interpret physiological data, enabling the real-time monitoring of vital signs and disease progression.

Bioengineering is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
