Coatings Receives an Updated Impact Factor of 3.4 and an Improved Category Ranking


We are pleased to inform you that Coatings’ 2022 Impact Factor is 3.4. Our journal continues to help advance the science and engineering of coatings, thin and thick films, surfaces and interfaces.

Coatings (ISSN: 2079-6412) ranks as follows:

  • Q2 (9 out of 21 journals) in the "Materials Science, Coatings and Films" category;
  • Q2 (56 out of 159 journals) in the "Physics, Applied" category.
