Recruiting Editorial Board Members and Guest Editors for Cosmetics

Applications for editor positions are now open for the journal Cosmetics (ISSN: 2079-9284). The positions and their responsibilities are as follows:

Editorial Board Member:

  • Providing occasional feedback on the journal scope and performance;
  • Making decisions or advising on regular submissions in your field;
  • Editing a Special Issue on a topic related to your research, and making final decisions for submitted papers;
  • Publishing one paper per year, free of charge, in the journal.

Guest Editor:

  • Shaping the topic and composing a short introduction (rationale) of the Special Issue for website announcements;
  • Soliciting contributions or suggesting potential contributors;
  • Pre-checking new submissions to ascertain the suitability for the Issue;
  • Making decisions regarding whether to accept a paper after peer review and author revision.

Cosmetics is an international, scientific, open access journal on the science and technology of cosmetics, published quarterly online by MDPI. Cosmetics is now indexed within Scopus, ESCI (Web of Science), CAPlus / SciFinder, and other databases. In 2023, Cosmetics received its first Impact Factor (3.3) with an increased CiteScore of 4.6.
