We are delighted to invite you to the 12th Conference on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (CMAPSEEC), which will take place from 17 to 19 October 2024, in the beautiful city of Izmir, Türkiye. This event, jointly organized by Gaziantep University and Lokman Hekim University in collaboration with the Association for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (AMAPSEEC), will be hosted by the Dokuz Eylül University (Izmir). The topic of this conference will be “Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Research from Biodiversity to Bioactivity”.

This conference continues the tradition of gathering researchers, industry experts, and practitioners from around the world to discuss the latest advances, challenges, and opportunities in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPS), providing a unique platform for networking, sharing knowledge, and exploring collaborations.

Participants can look forward to a diverse scientific program that includes invited lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions, all focusing on various aspects of MAPs, including the following:

• Phytochemistry and pharmacology;
• Plant biotechnology and breeding;
• Cultivation and sustainable use;
• Quality control and standardization;
• Ethnobotany and traditional knowledge.
