The ACSMEDI-EFMC Medicinal Chemistry Frontiers is co-organized by ACS MEDI (Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the American Chemical Society) and EFMC (European Federation for Medicinal chemistry and Chemical biology). The 2025 edition will be organized in Chicago, IL, United States.

The GP2A (Group for the Promotion of Pharmaceutical chemistry in Academia), the Paul Ehrlich MedChem Euro-PhD Network, and COST Action OneHealthdrugs are delighted to announce their joint event, the 33rd Annual GP2A Medicinal Chemistry Conference, XIVth Paul Ehrlich MedChem Euro-PhD Network Meeting, and COST Action One Health drugs against parasitic vector borne diseases in Europe and beyond, which will be held at Nantes Université, France, from 11 to 13 June 2025.

Orléans, France
The French Medicinal Chemistry Society (Société de Chimie Thérapeutique; SCT) is pleased to invite you to Orléans, France, from July 2 to 4, 2025, for the 59th edition of the International Conference on Medicinal Chemistry (RICT 2025).
The congress will be devoted to “Drug Discovery and Selection” and will feature 18 plenary lectures and 6 short lectures. Notably, two plenary lectures will be delivered by the recipients of the SCT Award for Drug Discovery Chemistry and the Evotec Prize for Excellence in Molecular Design.
As with the previous editions of RICT, the scientific committee will ensure the high quality and diversity of the scientific programme, as well as the accessibility of the meeting to PhD/postdoc and local Master students. For the latter group, an advantageous registration fee will be proposed.
In addition, a poster session will be conducted to provide the opportunity for all participants to present their current results. Poster prizes will be awarded at the end of the meeting. A limited number of grants funded by the SCT and Corporate Sponsors will be given to support the participation of young scientists presenting a poster at the conference.

The European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC) and the Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the Portuguese Chemical Society will be organising the 10th edition of the International Symposium on Advances in Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC-ASMC 2025).
This event will take place in Porto, Portugal, from August 31 to September 4, 2025, and is planned as part of a series of successful events which started in 2004 in Moscow and most recently took place in 2017 in Vienna, 2019 in Athens and 2023 in Zagreb.
This symposium will bring together chemists from around the world and will focus on the latest advances in strategies and methodologies across synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, chemical biology and drug discovery. The issue of how we enable more sustainable processes and materials alongside new opportunities to address challenging target classes with multiple success stories to clinical compounds will be presented.

The 12th edition of the EFMC Young Medicinal Chemists’ Symposium will be held in Porto, Portugal, on September 4–5, 2025. Jointly organised by the European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC) and the EFMC Young Scientists Network (YSN), EFMC-YMCS will take place in connection with the X EFMC International Symposium on Advances in Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC-ASMC 2025).
This short symposium has the following aims:
- Creating a network of young European investigators;
- Stimulating young European investigators to share their scientific work with peers and inspiring leaders in the field;
- Creating competition and excellence within Europe by selecting the European Champion in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology.
The Programme of the 12th EFMC Young Medicinal Chemists’ Symposium will include the following:
- Keynote lectures given by inspiring Early Career Researchers in the field;
