Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Nowadays, technologies in the dental field are widespread—from restorative dentistry to oral surgery, from material science to early diagnosis, and to the use of new tools and knowledge which open significant opportunities for the better management of patients and routine treatments.

This aspect needs to be increasingly brought up to date, due to the fast development and progression of technologies in dentistry. In the last few years, indeed, instruments for diagnosing, materials for restoring and techniques for surgery and prosthetic rehabilitations have greatly advanced, allowing for better performances and a decrease in human error, together with the achievement of better results with minimal chairside time.

In this perspective, this Special Issue aims to provide scholars with the possibility of sharing and improving knowledge in terms of technologies that are useful in dental and maxillo-facial clinical practices, both for restorative, rehabilitative and surgical approaches, orthodontic diagnoses, and the treatment and prevention of oral diseases.
