European Burn Journal

European Burn Journal (formerly European Journal of Burn Care) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on burn care and burn prevention. The journal is owned by the European Burns Association (EBA) and is published quarterly online by MDPI. 
  • Open Access— free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions.
  • High Visibility: indexed within ESCI (Web of Science), Scopus and other databases.
  • Rapid Publication: manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision is provided to authors approximately 24.7 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 5.6 days (median values for papers published in this journal in the first half of 2024).
