Travel Award
Dear Colleagues,
As Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (IJERPH), I am pleased to announce the winners of the 2023 Travel Award. The award has been granted to four junior scientists:
Dr. Anna Ogonowska-Slodownik, a post-doctoral fellow at Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland, who attended the International Conference on Aging, Innovation and Rehabilitation, Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Francesco De Pretis, a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy and IU Bloomington, USA, who will attend the Society of Risk Analysis (SRA) Europe 2023, Lund, Sweden.
Dr. Marta Gea, a post-doctoral fellow at the Department of Public Health and Pediatrics, University of Turin, Italy, who attended the 17th World Congress on Public Health, Rome, Italy.
Dr. Yimeng Song, a postdoctoral fellow at Yale University, USA, who will attend the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology – North American Chapter Conference 2023, Corvallis, USA
As the awardees, they will each receive an honorarium of CHF 500 and an electronic certificate.
With so many high-quality applicants, the evaluation process and final decision were challenging. We would like to thank all the applicants for submitting their work on a diverse and fascinating range of research topics. On behalf of the assessment committee, I congratulate the winners on their accomplishments.
