Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

With the rapid development of the global economy, a series of environmental problems induced by high pollution and high energy consumption industries have become increasingly prominent, causing serious ecological pollution, and carbon dioxide emissions have become a serious problem facing modern society. It has become a global consensus to jointly address the climate challenge. From the Kyoto Protocol to the Paris Agreement, more than 120 countries in the world have proposed routes to reach carbon neutrality, and the relationship between the social ecological environment and the industrial economy has gradually shifted to the compatible growth of the two. As an innovative method of resource allocation, green investment aims to achieve the development of renewable energy and green technology reform and innovation, among other things. It is a direct measure for controlling environmental pollution. However, there are some uncertainties regarding environmental policies due to the impact of changes on the environment itself. As uncertainty about environmental policies has increased, the investment environment has changed and green investment behavior has also been affected. Therefore, this Special Issue of the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (IJERPH) focuses on environmental policy uncertainty and green investment behavior against the background of carbon neutrality. The keywords listed below provide an outline of some of the possible areas of interest, and scholars are welcome to submit their research on these and other relevant topics.
