Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Musculoskeletal conditions are the most common cause of pain across all ages, races, and cultures and are a leading cause of disability in the developed world, affecting 1.71 billion people and consuming a large amount of health and social resources. This process accounts for 40–50% of the economic burden of work-related disorders in the European Community and an annual cost of USD 650B in health care and lost employment in the United States alone.

The aim of this Special Issue is to effectively combine and coordinate research and results in order to provide a multidisciplinary approach and an update on recent advances and treatments in the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
