Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The arrival of new technologies, hand in hand with digitalization, has not only transformed the business environment but also changed forever the way in which we relate to and communicate with each other.  The impact of the so-called technological revolution has been infinitely greater than any other process in history—a process that, in the opinion of many of researchers, is not leading us to an era of change but to a true change in era.

This Special Issue will create a platform for multidisciplinary discussion and allow us to invite scholars to debate critical issues to expand our shared knowledge of the relationship between new technologies and the new financial reality. For this Special Issue, we invite authors to submit research papers (original research and research approaches, perspectives, ideas) that focus on topics including aspects that will help this scientific field to delve deeper into the impacts of new technologies on new financial processes, both globally and by linking them to specific aspects of business. We will include works related to the following topics:

  • Digital transformation in the financial sector;
  • Digital economy;
  • Fintech;
  • Cryptocurrencies;
  • Links between blockchain and finance;
  • Impacts of new technologies on income statements;
  • Applications of AI processes in the economy and finance;
  • New forms of company valuation;

Impacts of new technologies on finance.
