Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In the context of multiple natural disasters and climate change, the living conditions of humans and the environment are critical natural capital because of their ability to regulate climate and multiple natural hazards. Researchers and decision makers around the world are devoting themselves to research of satellite remote sensing for the assessment of multiple hazards risks , as well as their control and transfer. This Special Issue will focus on the role of risk transfer and insurance in disaster risk reduction and climate change adaption. This Special Issue also emphasizes the advances in remote sensing and satellites for multiple risk analysis and risk management in the period of global climate change.

Benefits of Publishing in a Special Issue

  • Ease of navigation: Grouping papers by topic helps scholars navigate broad scope journals more efficiently.
  • Greater discoverability: Special Issues support the reach and impact of scientific research. Articles in Special Issues are more discoverable and cited more frequently.
  • Expansion of research network: Special Issues facilitate connections among authors, fostering scientific collaborations.
  • External promotion: Articles in Special Issues are often promoted through the journal's social media, increasing their visibility.
  • e-Book format: Special Issues with more than 10 articles can be published as dedicated e-books, ensuring wide and rapid dissemination.
