Lakeside Conference on Protein Toxins and Effectors 2024
We would like to announce the 2024 #LakesidePTE conference, a meeting focused exclusively on the topic of Microbial Protein Toxins and Effectors. This four-day conference to be held in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, in the Fall of 2024 will feature scientific discussion on secreted toxins and effectors, focusing on mechanisms and structure. Topics will include cytotoxic and cytopathic effects on eukaryotic cells, but also interbacterial and interkingdom competition between microbes. The goal of the conference will be to provide a venue for the exchange of ideas, approaches, and knowledge in this highly inter-disciplinary field of Toxin Biology that spans Biochemistry, Cell Biology, and Microbiology.
- The conference will feature extensive opportunities for presentations by attendees alongside keynote addresses and invited talks.
- Meeting registration includes scientific program, meals, and social events to encourage the scientific toxin biology community to interact. Shuttle and housing information are available on lodging and transportation tabs.
- A hybrid option to view live streamed oral presentations is available for all those who cannot attend in person but want to join the community.
