Section Information

Aims

The aim of the Section “Vaccines, Clinical Advancement, and Associated Immunology” is to highlight advances in vaccines and the associated immunology, vaccine clinical advancement, and vaccine-induced immunological changes, including immune-based adverse events induced by vaccines. This Section will provide a forum for novel insights into immunological mechanisms, translational applications, and the development of new vaccines.

Scope

We welcome articles focusing on the immunology of vaccines for infectious diseases, the design and development of new vaccines, and the clinical aspects of vaccinations, including adverse events and clinical entities that may occur following prophylactic and therapeutic vaccination. We also welcome submissions addressing preclinical and clinical studies related to vaccination in patients with immune-mediated disorders. The Section encourages translational research bridging experimental findings with human applications, and will consider original research articles, brief reports, reviews, and others relevant article types.
