In 2022, we published two articles in Future Internet, and in both cases we were very pleased with both the speed and the quality of the reviews, as well as with the support and assistance of the editorial staff. In both cases, the reviews were made public, including our point-by-point responses, which underscores the transparency and accountability of the peer-review process as implemented by the Future Internet editorial board. As a result, we would definitely consider publishing again in Future Internet in the future.

We would like to thank you personally and the editorial team for your time and effort in processing our manuscript. Thanks to the clear regulations on the terms of review in MDPI journals, and thanks mainly to your personal vigilant control, advice and reminders, we managed to reduce the review procedure to 1.5 months with two rounds of review. In other publications, it took up to 1 year!
We are grateful for your patience and for bringing in very professional reviewers whose constructive comments helped give us a broader perspective.

We think your service is excellent, including the various article processing processes and peer review. Our article was published in just one month for the entire process, and publication was quick. We felt that the peer-reviewer experts were of a high standard and pointed out not only the content aspects of my paper, but also the writing problems. These comments were not only helpful for us in this study, but will also help us in our future research and provide guidelines for ideas. Moreover, the processing time was fast. Comments were returned soon after the paper was submitted, and all processes were formalized.

I would describe my Special Issues experience with MDPI as very positive. I would especially praise the excellently organized and simple MDPI web platform, but also the very polite and helpful editorial staff who always respond to questions and emails in a very short time. Since this was my first experience as a Special Issue editor, I can say I learned a lot about ways of promotion in scientific publishing, but also gained new knowledge in the field of my area of expertise by participating in the manuscript review process. I am grateful to Catalysts for this unique experience.

I had my first paper published via MDPI Materials, and I must say that I was impressed with the working speed. E-mail responses were also very fast. What I liked the most were the critical reviews of the technical information which helped me improve the design and message of the article content. I am happy to publish my work through MDPI and consider it as first choice for the upcoming publications.

I have already published three articles in MDPI journals (as a co-author in Applied Sciences and Sensors and as an author in Algorithms), and I have always been very pleasantly surprised by the highly informed reviews with many inspiring comments, which helped to improve the quality of the articles significantly, e.g., in the last article, "The Assignment Problem and Its Relation to Logistics Problems in Algorithms", the text was extended from the original 19 pages to 27 pages, taking into account many other aspects. The work of the editors is also excellent, as they are very quick and efficient in helping the authors and, in addition, in the promotion of the paper after publication.
