Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The authors explored the relationships between environmental factors and LCC in complex terrain regions using a geographic statistical model. I have read the paper twice and I believe that this paper is worth to be published in the journal of Remote Sensing. The results of the paper found that topography is the primary influencing factors on LCC distribution of Sichuan area. It's very thorough, relevant and novel. The only suggestion is to improve English writing skills, especially for the logical coherence of sentences.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Dear Sirs,

I found your paper interesting and properly structured, as regards experiment design and datasets and model used. Methods reporting is not always correct, however, and in particular I recognized a total lack of information on the softwares you used for data treatments and model running. Other minor flaws are reported in notes added to the attached file.

In conclusion, I suggest acceptation after a minor revision.

Best regards
