About Agrochemicals

Aims

Agrochemicals (ISSN 2813-3145) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original experimental and theoretical research on every aspect of agrochemicals. It publishes research papers, review articles, communications, and short notes, and there is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers.

In particular, Agrochemicals is focused on all different types of chemicals that are used or have been used in the agro-food chain, under a “from farm to form” aspect, under a holistic approach. As such, the journal Agrochemicals includes research that is carried out with different types of chemicals that have been, are currently being, or will be used in agriculture, in different crops and orchards, but also at the post-harvest stages of agricultural commodities and their processing. We welcome submissions that are related to agrochemicals, such as substances that are usually synthetic chemical compounds used on farming, which range from fertilizers and soil conditioners to plant protection products and plant growth regulators (as defined by the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD)). Moreover, based on different regulations (such as the Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 and Directive 2009/128/EC, as well as the regulations of the Codex Alimentarius Commission), aspects related to the utilization and application of agrochemicals, in relation to consumer and environmental protection, are also included in Agrochemicals, such as provisions in relation to levels of pesticide and relative substance residues in food and feed. Finally, we welcome submissions that are focused on good agricultural practice of the application of agrochemicals, and their sustainable use toward an integrated approach in the agro-food chain.
