Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We intend to publish a Special Issue of the journal Axioms, which will showcase papers devoted to “Mathematical Physics and Spectral Theory” and their applications. We welcome papers devoted to these and related subjects and their applications. We are especially interested in papers that concern the spectral and dynamical properties of operators arising from Quantum Mechanics or Quantum Field Theory, with a particular emphasis on the following topics: The spectral theory of N-body problems, extensions of classical results to non-self-adjoint operators, the theory of resonances, scattering theory, and limited absorption principles.  In particular, the following related topics will be also considered: quantization, invariant differential operators with respect to groups actions, Dirac operators, singular manifolds, geometric operators on non-compact manifolds, pseudo-differential calculi, and Schrödinger operators, to the extent to which they relate to the main topics of the special issue. We hope to stress the unity of these topics and the variety of their applications.

Both original research papers and review papers will be considered. This Special Issue is a continuation and enhancement of the topics presented in the conference with the same name that we organized in Metz, in Spring 2017:  http://www.iecl.univ-lorraine.fr/~Victor.Nistor/confSpTh2017.htm

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Axioms is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2400 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
