Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Numerous underlying mechanisms have been proposed for Ovarian Cancer pathogenesis, from follicular insensitivity to exogenous gonadotrophins, down to even lifestyle parameters. Additionally, several associations and causative relationships regarding Ovarian Cancer have been proposed, ranging from advanced maternal age and reduced ovarian reserve, to genetic or even iatrogenic factors.

Considering the significance of improving Ovarian Cancer patient performance, we invite clinicians and reproductive scientists to contribute to this Special Issue with original research articles and comprehensive review papers, focusing on Ovarian Cancer pathogenesis at molecular, genetic and epigenetic levels. In addition, studies focused on unveiling novel biomarkers as well as novel algorithms for accurately predicting an expected poor ovarian response are also invited. Finally, studies investigating novel treatments and protocols aiming to improve the ovarian response would be of added value.

We believe that a series of articles within this framework will make a valuable contribution towards better understanding and managing this multifactorial condition.
