Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

With the rapid development of medical imaging technology, cancer medical images have been processed and analyzed with increasing focus. Various methods, including image segmentation, image registration, image fusion, and image enhancement, are used by clinicians to extract novel information. Moreover, these advanced image analysis and processing technologies included in imaging systems allow clinicians to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and measure lesions and other areas of interest, thereby improving the accuracy of clinical diagnosis.

This Special Issue aims to share applications of various advanced technologies in cancer image processing and analysis. Original articles and reviews are welcome.

Potential topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

(1) The reconstruction and denoising of cancer images;

(2) Feature selection and extraction;

(3) Applications of deep learning;

(4) Image-guided therapy for cancers;

We look forward to receiving your contributions.
