Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The integration of machine learning (ML) into the realm of finance has revolutionized traditional approaches to decision making. As we witness unprecedented technological advancements, this Special Issue aims to explore the significance of machine learning applications in shaping the landscape of financial decision making.

We invite researchers, practitioners, and experts in the field of machine learning and finance to contribute their insights to this Special Issue, with our primary objective being to showcase innovative applications of machine learning techniques that enhance decision-making processes in financial contexts.

Topics of Interest: Papers submitted to this Special Issue should address, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  1. Predictive modeling: applications of machine learning for accurate prediction of financial market trends, asset prices, and risk assessment;
  2. Algorithmic trading: innovative algorithms and models that leverage machine learning for optimizing trading strategies and portfolio management;
  3. Credit scoring and risk management: ML-based approaches to assess creditworthiness, detect fraud, and enhance risk management practices;
  4. Robo-advisors and personalized finance: exploration of machine learning in developing personalized financial recommendations and robo-advisor services;
  5. Regulatory compliance: ML applications that facilitate compliance with financial regulations and enhance security in transactions.

Submission Guidelines: Prospective authors are invited to submit original research papers, case studies, or review articles related to the above-mentioned themes. Submissions should adhere to the journal's formatting guidelines and all papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process.

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process.
