Dear Colleagues,
We are organizing a Special Issue of Metabolites for the publication of Proceedings from the 10th MetaboMeeting, which is to be held at the University of Birmingham in the UK, 11–13 December, 2017 (http://metabomeeting2017.thempf.org/).
The meeting will bring together research scientists and practitioners from all areas of application and development of metabolic profiling, covering a wide range of experience from early career scientists to experts from throughout the international metabolomics field.
The meeting agenda will be available on the conference web-site and will include sessions on some or all of the following:
- Applied Metabolomics
- Drug Discovery and Development
- Human Disease and Nutrition
- Microbial, Invertebrate and Environmental applications
- Plants
- Data Analysis and Integration with Systems Biology
- Metabolite Identification
- Data Modelling and Data Interpretation

- Early career scientists
This Special Issue aims to show the cutting-edge scientific discoveries on the above-listed topics from the MetaboMeeting 2017. Papers submitted to this Special Issue of the Metabolites will undergo the standard peer-review procedure. We anticipate publishing the Proceedings of this Special Issue in June 2018.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Metabolites is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.

Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
