Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The 2017 Chinese Medicinal Chemistry Symposium (CMCS 2017) will be held, 27–30 August, 2017, in Beijing, China. It is the highest scientific event for the Chinese medicinal chemistry research field, aiming to provide a high-level platform for the discussion and exchange of the latest developments in medicinal chemistry and related fields, for researchers and the business community. According to the signed cooperation framework agreement between the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and the European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry, the 2017 CPA-EFMC International Symposium on Medicinal Chemistry will be held in the same period.

The topic of this symposium is “Committing to New Global Medicine Research and Development—Focusing on New Molecules, Technologies, and Therapies”. The symposium will provide a good communication platform for researchers of medicinal chemistry and related fields, enhancing communication and cooperation, and promoting the development and application of medicinal chemistry. Thus, we set up this Special Issue to provide a global platform for presenting the latest research results in medicinal chemistry-related areas.

In this Special Issue, we welcome original articles and short communications, as well as a limited number of review articles, which present the most advanced medicinal chemistry-related research results, including, but not limited to, novel biological active molecules, novel screening and design methods, and new therapeutic strategies.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Molecules is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2700 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
