Dear Colleagues,

Membranes play a pivotal role in the realm of green chemistry, offering sustainable solutions for separations, purifications, and environmental remediation. Recent advances in membrane preparation have revolutionized the field, leading to innovative techniques and materials that align with the principles of green chemistry. This Special Issue aims to highlight the latest developments in membrane technology and its applications, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Key focuses of this Special Issue include novel membrane fabrication methods, enhanced selectivity and efficiency, as well as the utilization of sustainable materials and processes. Additionally, the applications of membranes in water purification, resource recovery, green solvent filtration, and energy-efficient processes will be explored. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Molecules is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
