Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Balance disorders and gait disorders due to vestibular dysfunction are conditions that can significantly impact one's ability to maintain stability and engage in normal walking. Vestibular dysfunction, often resulting from inner ear issues, disrupts the body's sense of spatial orientation, leading to imbalance and gait abnormalities. On the other hand, the neurology of gait and gait disorders delves into the intricate neurological mechanisms that underlie normal walking patterns and explores the various pathologies that can disrupt them. These disorders, ranging from stroke to neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's, can have profound effects on an individual's quality of life.

We welcome contributions from researchers and clinicians in these related fields. Whether it's the latest findings on vestibular dysfunction, innovative treatments for gait disorders, or insights into the neural pathways involved in walking, your work is invaluable to advancing our understanding of these conditions. By sharing your knowledge and expertise, we can collectively work towards improving diagnosis, treatment, and overall outcomes for those affected by these disorders.
