Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The goal of this Special Issue, “Fish and Shellfish for Nutrition and Health: Vaccinology and Probiotics” is to focus on the significance of vaccinology and probiotic therapy in aquaculture to increase the health status of aquaculture and maintain the sustainability of aquaculture. Specifically, the aim is to clarify whether probiotics can influence the gut microbiota’s composition and its interactions with the host to favor aquatic animal health and prevent diseases, either individually or in combination with the vaccines. These new data will help healthcare professionals and update the evidence on the efficacy and potency of vaccines and probiotics in aquaculture farms.
