Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors study an alternative representation of the (multi)qubit states which can be represented on the plane.

The paper is well written, the results interesting and a follow up of another paper from the authors.

I suggest publishing the paper after some minor English editing.

Reviewer 2 Report

Authors show a new geometrical representation for quantum states
in any dimension. The representation is closely related to Malevich
square representation. I find the paper well organized and very well
illustrated with examples and figures, which simplifies the process
to understand it. As a minor concern, I am not sure about the success
of the method in high dimensional spaces. However, I find the new
representation as a valuable contribution to geometrically represent
quantum states beyond the Bloch sphere. English language could be
slightly improved but I find its level suitable for publication.

As a possible generalization for future works it would be interesting
to develop a geometrical representation for composite systems
(e.g. qubit-qubit). Perhaps there is a nice way to visualize quantum
entanglement, at least for pure states.

Based on the above comments I recommend a publication of the manuscript
in Entropy as it is.
