Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper studied the thermalization of a quantum harmonic oscillator system, and found that including a barrier potential into a harmonic trap would lead to the thermalization of the system, while a harmonic trap alone would not thermalize the system. The result in this paper is interesting, and the paper provides sufficient arguments for its conclusion, both analytically and numerically.

I recommend publishing this paper in its current form.
