Authors have summarized the influence of Cordyceps spp. and cordycepin on bone and teeth health. I think this is an initial report on this particular field that contains valuable information for future reference. In my opinion, authors should add a figure/ image showing the mechanism of actions of these compounds and how they show their effects against osteoporosis.

Improving the mechanical and structural properties of bones, their resistance to even minor trauma, which is currently referred to as bone quality, increasing bone mineral density, preventing osteoporotic fractures and healing them faster and without any complications are fundamental goals of modern prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. The article refers the important and current problem, highlights the legitimacy of combining the latest achievements of medical science and natural medicine, the attainments of which belong to the history of our civilization. Medical implications of the submitted article cause that it contains in the thematic profile of the periodical “Molecules”.

My recommendation is to accept manuscript for publication after minor revision – comments in the pdf version.
