Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The Authors reviewed the current landscape of targeted therapeutic options in early NSCLC. The review is interesting, complete and well written.

I suggest to add a table reporting the current ongoing trials with target based agents (described in the text) in adjuvant and neoadjuvant setting.

Thank you for your positive feedback. We have added Table 2 as per your suggestion and corrected some minor syntax errors.

Reviewer 2 Report

The manuscript by Alex Friedlaender et al. entitled "Targeted therapies in early stage NSCLC: Hype or hope?" described in detail the latest news regarding targeted therapy for the NSCLC. For this reason the manuscript is considered valid.

Some comments:
Line 61: report in full as first time TKI
Line 106: report a space between "progression" and bibliografy
Line 152: report a space between "trials" and bibliografy
Line 165: report a space between "dependent" and bibliografy
Line 193: there is a bibliographic reference not correctly inserted
Line 196: report a space between "praseltinib" and bibliografy
Line 198: reporting a space between "landscape" and bibliografy
Add spaces between last words of the sentence and bibliography in the following lines: 214; 225; 228; 236

Recheck all the bibliography in the manuscript because it is reported in different styles
