Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

After a careful reading of this manuscript, I believe that this article can be accepted for publication as review in the IJMS journal. This review is well written, and I think it will be of interest to a wide range of readers. My only remark is that the most modern works that the authors of this review refer to date from 2017 and later. I think it is necessary to add new data from the last 5 years to this review.

Author Response

I would like to thank the reviewer for their supportive review. The reviewer commented that there is a paucity of primary publications cited that focus on the role of Flt3 signaling dated after 2017. I have cited 2 studies published in 2018 and 2022 (the recent 2022 added to this revision and now included in the text, table and figure). Although there have been many published studies on Flt3 signaling in other hematopoietic lineages, they have not focused on B lymphopoiesis or humoral immunity. Therefore, they were not included in this focused review.

Reviewer 2 Report

This invited review topic is interesting. It paves the way for future research on the role of Flt3 in human hematopoiesis and possibly its role in lymphoma. this is especially since Flt3 is a targetable TK receptor.

I do not have any major edits

It was a well written and structured review

Thank you
