Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Authors have done an extensive review on C. albicans mutant libraries and their applications in morphogenesis, biofilm formation, fungal-host interactions and antifungal drug resistance

IJMS (ISSN 1422-0067) The manuscript ID ijms-1958105 title “Application of the Mutant Libraries for Candida albicans Functional Genomics”

An excellent review of C. albicans library mutant’s construction, this summarize the last made in different laboratories so far. Then is an excellent document to start to work more on the genetics and the role of different structural and regulatory genes of this yeast. Will be used as a starting document to relate different Candida factors to figure out what of them can be related to normal flora or pathogen behavior. Just need to uniform the references in the text. Congratulation!
