The Molecular Microbiology section of the International Journal of Molecular Sciences (IJMS) aims to rapidly publish papers contributing to a deeper understanding of molecular principles underlying physiological processes and regulatory mechanisms in microorganisms. Molecular studies of archaea, bacteria, eukaryotic microorganisms, and viruses are welcome.
