- Physarum is a genus, so should be italic through the manuscript.

- Furthermore, line 610 the plant scientific names must be in italic.

- Please re-arrange the page numbers. 

- Line 629:  Where did you used "±SE" in the manuscript? I suggest use ±SD (standard deviation) instead of ±SE (standard error).

- Line 630: If the primers designed by you, please mention to their accession number in the Table S4 and how you designed in the main test. If other, please refer to the related citation.

- There are many blank pages in the "Supplemental_Tables.pdf". Please remove it.
