Nguyen et al. reported the synthesis of a previously unknown compound using known chemistry. The paper is worth to be published in Molbank since it meets all the journal requirements after the following minor criticism are addressed:
The paper contains some typos, please check it thoroughly
in the abstract, third line "radicals" should be "radical"
page 5, tenth line, I would add "in literature" at the end of the sentence
I would add some references to highlight the importance of the quinazolinone scaffold such as 10.3390/molecules25204780; 10.1016/j.bioorg.2020.104345; 10.1016/j.bmc.2020.115606; 10.1016/j.ejmech.2018.05.001; 10.1002/cmdc.201300287; 10.14233/ajchem.2013.15509 and others

We have accordingly updated the whole sentence as shown in the second sentence of the Abstract in the manuscript. We’ve also checked the manuscript thoroughly for any other typos and found none.
Point 2: Page 5, tenth line, I would add "in literature" at the end of the sentence

We have checked the tenth line in Page 5 but cannot find a suitable place to add “in literature” as suggested by the reviewer.
We reckon it was a typo and have found that a better place is the tenth line in Page 3, not Page 5. We have thus gone ahead and updated the suggested “in literature” at the end of the tenth line in Page 3 as shown in the updated manuscript.

Our response:
We have incorporated all these six references (numbered 7 to12) both in text and in the References to highlight the importance of the quinazoline scaffold. As a result, all reference numbers have been changed accordingly as shown in the updated manuscript.
