Reviewer 2 Report
The authors present a sound interpretation of differences between Rivne and Baltic amber fauna and set in general perspective ecological and zoogeographical traits of the studies group.
I made some notes in the pdf file for consideration by the author. Some sentences are very long and complicated. It will help a lot if the text is polished a bit.
I consider the manuscript a fine and interesting contribution to the knowledge of amber faunas and the factors that shaped radiation and extinctions of dominant phytophagous beetles since the Eocene.
The MS file with some small proposals is attached
